The Speedway site was already zoned for its use as a gas station, but there was a residential neighborhood nearby that required BZA approval of the Speedway signage desired. BZA approval was also achieved for the dumpster location due to the site having three front yards. Drainage approval was received through INDOT and the City. During construction, some unmapped underground utility conflicts arose, which could have delayed the opening date. A resolution was formed by our Construction Management team working closely with Citizens Energy Group and the City to alleviate the issues. The store opened on schedule during the 2016 Christmas holiday.
