Jamie serves as the Sr. Vice President of Commercial Development for Weihe Engineers, Inc. He is a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer with experience in the areas of design, planning, construction inspection, cost estimating, and project management. He has worked for commercial, institutional, industrial, residential, and governmental clients.

Jamie began his career with the Tippecanoe County Highway Department while attending Purdue University. His responsibilities included road design, subdivision plan review and inspection, materials testing, drainage design and surveying. Following graduation, Jamie continued his career with a small engineering firm out of Memphis, Tennessee. Jamie’s experience in Memphis began with preparation of construction documents including the planning and design of multiple residential, commercial and municipal road and land development projects. Additional responsibilities included any hydrologic and/or hydraulic studies required for these developments such as flood and detention analyses.

At Weihe Engineers, Jamie began with drainage design for multiple residential and commercial projects in many of the surrounding cities and counties centrally located around Indianapolis. Currently, Jamie heads the Commercial Department. He leads a team of project managers who manage multiple commercial, industrial and institutional projects, which include big box, convenience store/gas stations, churches, offices, restaurants, retail, banks and auto related facilities.

Jamie has experience in all aspects of site design from project concept and site feasibility through construction including storm water master planning and design, storm water quality, storm water management, water main extensions, and sanitary sewer design. He is licensed as a PE in the States of Indiana, Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas, Michigan, Wisconsin and Alabama.
